IN HOUSE TESTING LAB

Mullar Tex Ltd. is equipped with a essential testing lab. The lab is equipped with high quality testing instruments from world renowned manufacturers. The testing that are carried out in this lab are as follows :

(1) CROCK (RUBBING) TESTING :The Digital Motorized Crock Meter is used to determine the discolored extent for the label (mostly woven label) by abrasion method. In order to carry out the test first the abrasive hammer must be coated with a dry (for dry test) or wet (for sweat test) white cotton cloth. The head is then mechanically driven to repeatedly abrade the label specimen clamped on the testing table for many times (set by the testing standard) within within a set time period to examine the grade of the label's color firmness.

(2) SUBLIMATION (SCORCH) COLOR FAST TESTING :The Sublimation (Scorch) test helps to determine a label's Ironing color fastness and sublimation color fastness. It also tests a label's dimensional stability under hot dry conditions. There are mainly 2 types of Sublimation testing :

(a) DRY PRESSING: The dry specimen is subjected to a certain time in the pressure device with the specified temperature and the specified pressure. The Gray sample card is used to evaluate the color of the specimen after testing.

(b) WET PRESSING: With a wet cotton-lined fabric covered, The wet specimen is subjected to a certain time in the pressure device with the specified temperature and the specified pressure. After the test, the gray sample card was used to evaluate the discoloration of the specimen and the stained color of the lining fabric.

(c) TIDAL PRESSING: With a wet cotton-lined fabric covered, The dry specimen is subjected to a certain time in the pressure device with the specified temperature and the specified pressure. After the test, the gray sample card was used to evaluate the discoloration of the specimen and the stained color of the lining fabric.
